Interlude
2025
transparent film on glass, 213 x 152 cm
The spacious living room is surrounded by large glass panels. One of these, next to the kitchen, provides an eye-catching contrast to the otherwise restrained, monochrome colour scheme of the interior.
Within this spatial framework, the arrangement of coloured shapes creates a sense of movement, forming a spatial intervention. Overlapping forms and diagonal cuts prevent the composition from settling into a fixed viewpoint, allowing foreground and background to continuously exchange roles.
The colour palette began with the owner’s initial choices and was later expanded by the artist to achieve a balanced interplay of colour, light, and reflection.
